To refinish a standard, clawfoot, or jacuzzi tub we first strip down the top layer by lightly sanding down the entire surface of the bathtub to a rough finish. Then, we buff down the rough layer until it is as smooth as possible. After smoothing, we vacuum the bathtub to remove debris and make sure there is no mess left.
Next, we repair any tub damage, like holes and worn spots, by filling chipped, scratched, and cracked areas. Then we smooth and wipe down the bathtub again to ensure dust particles and other debris do not interfere with the new coat of paint.
Finally, we paint the surface, then add a primer and multiple layers of coating before applying a layer of sealant over the entire tub.
Once the refinishing process is complete, any imperfections you saw before will be repaired and resurfaced, and your bathtub will look smooth and shiny from the new coat of paint.
