Shower Refinishing
For light damage and cosmetic repair, we use the refinishing process to fix the paint and outer sealant of your shower. This layer tends to chip and bubble the most with age, therefore, typically needs renewing over time. This process does not repair deeper rooted issues associated with the shower structure, but it is the perfect remedy for minor surface damages.
Shower Repair and Resurfacing
Tub and shower repair involves resurfacing the liner, which sits just below the paint, but above the acrylic glaze. The liner layer is crucial to the longevity of your shower, so keeping it maintained is highly recommended.
If your shower needs resurfacing, we will strip down all of the upper layers and the liner before repairing the deterioration. We recommend resurfacing a shower that is chipped, as we will already have the appropriate layer exposed during the refinishing process. It is important to keep the shower liner clean and maintained because it provides a moisture barrier from the bottom layer.
Shower Tile Reglazing
Most showers and tubs with minimal surface blemishes and damage can receive exceptional improvement from a refinish or resurface, but in some cases, old and worn out showers have impairments that are beyond the first two processes and require reglazing. Showers in poor condition that need a complete overhaul will benefit from a reglaze. Although a highly intensive procedure that requires the use of chemicals, shower reglazing is still much more economical than replacement. If a reglaze is required, we buff out all the layers of the shower and basically rebuild the structure, ensuring you’re left with a strong, solid, glossy shower or tub. This is as close to brand new as it gets!
